Mahu is a delicious, fresh, slightly herbal and citrusy Sauvignon Blanc from Maule, a cool climate region within Valle Central (Central Valley), south of Santiago in Central Chile.
Mahu is made by Pablo Morandé, one of Chile's most influential winemakers. Pablo Morandé, after studying agriculture at the University of Santiago, worked for Concha Y Toro, a medium-sized winery at the time, before he opened his own family estate in 1996.
Pablo Morandé was the first to plant grapes in Casablanca, a cool-climate region near the Pacific Ocean, now prized for expressive, fresh and mineral Sauvignon Blanc. This Sauvignon Blanc pairs well with a variety of dishes, including grilled seafood, fresh salads, and goat cheese. It also complements light pasta dishes and herb-focused cuisines, enhancing the overall dining experience.
